I love your newsletter! I don't read the papers on Sunday anymore because I use the time to absorb everything in Abbey Goes Design Scouting. It is so refreshing and lovely to follow your small joys. Your week sounds horrible but you keep going with humor which is a wonderful thing. The world may be uncertain but your world is still full of joy that you share with others. Thank you.
I love reading the newsletters. Keep going. I get where you are coming from worrying does this stuff matter? But I keep coming back to idea that this is your passion and through that builds community of like minded people. Reading your words connects me to that passion and puts a smile on my face. And I think that’s how we keep going...
As someone who is recovering from 2 major surgeries in five months, your newsletter gives me space to breathe for a short time. The daily dose of green is an opportunity to pause for a moment and clear my mind. Thank you!
Oh Anne - one surgery and the recovery is A LOT let alone TWO. Sending healing energy your way - plus wishes for energy, stamina and good sleep nightly.
I am in awe. How do you go through a week like that and still put together this lovely newsletter? I saved your last one, unread, so I’d have a boost mid-week, if needed. But, I made it through and so I had two (!) to help me survive a 48-hour visit from two cranky grandkids. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine and great links! I hope this next week brings you lots of sunshine.
Wendy, I always love to see your name pop up - we've been connected digitally for a long time now! This comment made me smile - I truly wasn't sure the newsletter was going to cross the finish line this week, but then - it did - and it was therapeutic to write in the end!
I look forward to your newsletter every week and I’m thrilled to be able to support it. I know how you’re feeling, but please know that you create joy in a world that desperately needs it!
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about a tough, heartbreak-filled week. Sending wishes for a week ahead with peace, joy, groundedness, and whimsy to you and those you love <3
I’m so sorry about your friend’s diagnosis, and I hope your sister’s surgery goes well. Health can be scary :( Yes, please keep writing! I wonder the same thing whether I’m writing or taking pictures. It matters. We all need each other to stay afloat❤️
If you and your mom try out the marbling technique on terra cotta pots this summer, please post a tutorial! Also, I am fascinated by the behaviors and intelligence of crows and hope to befriend one someday.
I love your newsletter and I’m so glad you are here writing it. ❤️
Wendy! Thank you so much for the kind words!
